This tree's distinctive, pyramidal shape has dense, drooping branches and fine textured foliage. Leaves are a dark, glossy green that turn orange to red in the Fall. It prefers a moist, well-draining, rich, acidic soil. As the tree matures it takes on an oval-pyramidal form.
