The 'Redpointe® Maple' is one of our favorites! With it's quick growth rate, upright posture, and broad pyramidal top, this tree tends to outperform many of our other varieties of Red Maples. It has a bright red Fall color, and it's dominant leader grows straight allowing for strong branch formation. This tree is also very heat tolerant and is highly resistant to leaf chlorosis, which is when the foliage yellows in the summer due to a manganese deficiency.
