This tree is very similar to a Hedge Maple but it grows at a much higher rate and is much hardier. It grows more upright and will reach higher than a Hedge Maple. It has cork-like bark and dark green foliage which turns yellow in the Fall. State Street Maples are very cold tolerant and pest resistant.
